Dearests,
I didn't know I was feeling betrayed until I read this. So that's it! That's indescribable feeling! Thank you Lord for revealing this to me. For a long time, I've been trying to put these feelings into words. But..I was unable to find. So, thank you God for being my..dictionary? Hahahas! :)
This devotion started with a verse with many 'How can I?' I totally know how it feels like to love someone and get nothing in return. The fact that its not just once but a few times that I've been through what I've went through. Seriously, one time is good enough. But having to go through a few times, its definitely not something that I'll hope for.
Above everything, like what it was written below. Even God won't force a human being to love Him. Likewise, I've learnt that I won't force anyone to love me coz forcing is never love. Letting go when the person wants to leave, is loving the person. So, I am confident and assured to say that I have loved.
I'm not sure how many of you out there is able to understand what I am typing here. But it definitely took me much amount of heart tears and tears to learn this simple truth.
And I was reminded that God is a jealous God! He does not desire to share His bride (us - His church) with anyone else. (I don't think anyone would want to share their brides with anyone..) Definitely not satan. And of course, God loved us so much that He sent His one and only Son to die for our sins. Honestly, how great is God's love? Does anyone knows exactly?
No..even until now, though I am increasingly experiencing His amazing beautiful true love. I must say, it's not the max. That's because God's love has no limit. It's beyond our imagination. It's beyond what we can fathom. It's beyond our cap.
I can hear God saying,"How can I let you go when you are so precious to me? How can I not protect you when I know satan's plan is to steal, kill and destroy you (John 10:10) with all his lies (John 8:44)? How can I not bless you? How can I not hear you when you talk to me and seek my face? How can I not comfort you when you are in pain? How can I not heal you when you are feeling unwell? How can I not carry you when you fall down, when you stumble? How can I not hug and mend your heart when someone broke it? How can I not provide you with the things that you need when I know you need them? How can I not love you? How can I not give my son to die on the cross for you when I know your sins will not free you? How can I let you go? How can I?"

"My Daily Bread" Devotion
"How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is stirred." -Hosea 11:8-Is there any human feeling more powerful than that of betrayal? Ask a high school girl whose boyfriend has dumped her for a pretty cheerleader. Or tune your radio to a country-western station and listen to the lyrics of infidelity. Or check out the murders reported in the daily newspaper, an amazing number of which trace back to a quarrel with an estranged lover.
In the Old Testament, God through Hosea’s marriage demonstrates in living color exactly what it is like to love someone desperately and get nothing in return. Not even God, with all His power, will force a human being to love Him.
Many people think of God as an impersonal force, something akin to the law of gravity. The book of Hosea portrays almost the opposite: a God of passion and fury and tears and love. A God in mourning over Israel’s rejection of Him (11:8).
God the lover does not desire to share His bride with anyone else. Yet, amazingly, when Israel turned her back on God, He stuck with her. He was willing to suffer, in hope that someday she would return to Him.
