Dearests,
I was reading this devotion in the train, on my way to work. I read it halfway yesterday night and didn't really continue reading..somehow. The last portion that I read was,"but do you really want the disease?" I was like..this is interesting. Cause somehow this question jumped upon me and I knew that God wants to speak something to me through this and I know it's gonna be powerful!
So as I continued reading this, what brought to my attention was,"
the only way to find true healing" and the writer mentioned that its gonna be
thorough. The first thought that came to my mind was that..I WANT THAT!! I WANT THIS KIND OF THOROUGH HEALING!! I LIKE IT!! THAT'S WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!! And of coz..I know very well that Jesus is our Healer who will never reject us whenever we seek for His healing touch.
Then the writer talks about God's words
piercing all the way through..from the external stuff to the inside - the heart issues. Our thoughts, our intentions and our motives.
Interestingly, I was talking to a friend about..intentions just the night before!
Immediately I know what God is saying here.
"You want that healing? Come to Me." I am very much encouraged. Cause..I know and am affirmed from the Healer Himself that I'm on the right track! I know He is my doctor. He is my psychiatrist. He is my counsellor. He is my surgeon. He is the One who is fixing the inner parts of my heart, my thoughts, my soul - where no human doctors could ever reached.
The best of all..I don't need an appointment! I don't have to pay. I don't have to wait for a few weeks or even months just to go for a Q&A session, then prescription then review, so on and so forth. I can just let God heal my heart HERE AND NOW!! HOW WONDERFUL IS THAT?! :D

I thank You Lord for You have been my surgeon since the day I accepted You in my life. Though I can't really remember which day but I do clearly remember that we (Jonathan was leading me in praying the sinner's prayer.) were at Marina Square's Burger King (the old one of course..) Hahahas!! MAN!! That's 6 years ago!! Time flies..very fast! I still remember the last time that I was counting the years with Anrina was..2 years ago!! And..we were only 4 years old in Christ! And now! WOHOO!! We past 5 past and we are in the 6th year!! HAHAHAS!! Feels like PSLE (6th grade and final level of Primary school exam) is coming very soon. :P
You are GOOD LORD! So good to me. So good to WCC. So good to Church Arise! You have seen us through these years! You are amazing! PRAISE YOU FATHER!! WOOT!! \(>.<)/

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
-Hebrews 4:12-I have a friend who recently underwent a laryngoscopy. I winced as he explained how his doctor took a camera with a light on the end and stuck it down his throat to try to find the cause of his pain.
It reminded me that God’s Word is like a laryngoscopy. It invades the
unseen areas of our lives,
exposing the diseased and damaged spiritual tissue that troubles us. If you’re wincing at the thought of how uncomfortable this divine procedure might be, consider Jesus’ words:
“Everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed” (John 3:20).
Internal intrusions may be uncomfortable, but do you really want the disease?*NIV Version of John 3:20 "Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed."
Another verse that I thought of as I read John 3:20 is
"He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of people's hearts." -1 Corinthians 4:5-Welcoming God’s Word to penetrate the deep, dark places of our hearts is the only way to find true healing and the spiritual health we long for. Believe me, the procedure will be thorough. As the writer of Hebrews assures, God’s Word is “sharper than any two-edged sword” (4:12)—piercing all the way through the external stuff of our lives, all the way down to our thoughts, intentions, and motives.
So what are you waiting for? With God’s Word you don’t need an appointment. The
