Dear diary,
Every morning I goes to work, as soon as I step out of my house, I will listen to my nano. I always start with the first song in "United We Stand" album and let the songs keep on playing one after another.
But just yesterday, I was in the train, listening to all the same songs, I paused a while when the singer sings "There is no one else for me...None but Jesus...Crucified to set me free...now I live to bring him praise...".
I was just thinking of the meaning of this chorus. Especially the last line, "now I live to bring him praise..." I was thinking of our youth band, Jazper leading songs in service this coming Saturday. And linked to this last line in the chorus. Suddenly, I was reminded who and what I am living for. Not for anyone...but for Jesus. Yes Jesus. Just Him, Jesus alone. And it is to glorify Jesus, to give Him all the praise that is due to Him.
I went to "Church of Our Saviour" for Inner Healing at night. At the end of the whole session, the minister told me to praise God despite of all the circumstances that I've been through or am going through. It is not that I do not know about this. To me, it is like a reminder from God. Only God can satisfy me. Only God, our Abba Father can give me the perfect Father's love. I am secure only in God!
Wow! Just then, I linked what she said to this chorus which has jumped unto me in the morning. I realise, it all linked! I told her about this chorus and she suggest me to sing to both of them at the last session of Inner Healing. I'm like,"Oh yes, make sure both of you pray hard! Pray that God will convinced me to sing to you all!" Hahas, so funny...Then she said,"Oh yes, I will pray to God everyday!" WAHAHAHAS!! She is so funny! :D
Later on, she showed me Psalm 23. She asked me to go home meditate this verse and she goes on to explain the first few lines in the psalm. I was sweetly surprised when she pointed this psalm to me. I told her that my male leader also used this psalm on me in the past! Now...God is really reminding and speaking to me not just one thing, but many things! I know, God is serious and still cares about me. Amen! :)
